Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead daily store operations to ensure sales targets are met and customer satisfaction is optimized, fostering a proactive and engaging environment.
- Train, mentor, and motivate staff to enhance their performance and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, creating a cohesive team.
- Manage inventory levels through accurate stock assessments and timely ordering, minimizing waste and ensuring product availability for customers.
- Analyze sales reports and customer feedback to implement effective merchandising strategies, driving sales growth and enhancing the shopping experience.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and empathy, resolving issues promptly to maintain positive customer relationships.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, share best practices, and foster an open environment for feedback and suggestions.
- Oversee visual merchandising standards, ensuring that displays are appealing and reflective of brand identity to attract and retain customers.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe shopping environment for both customers and staff.
- Collaborate with upper management to develop promotional campaigns and community engagement initiatives that align with the store’s objectives.
- Monitor employee performance through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback, driving continuous improvement and professional development.
Desired Candidate Profile
- At least 3 years of retail experience, with a focus on supervisory roles, demonstrating your ability to lead and inspire a team.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets, reflecting your understanding of retail dynamics and customer preferences.
- Certification in retail management or customer service indicates your dedication to professional development in the industry.
- Experience in inventory management systems is essential for maintaining stock accuracy and optimizing store performance.
- Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customer bases.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and customer feedback, enabling informed decision-making and strategy development.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- A proactive problem-solver with the ability to think critically and adapt to rapidly changing retail landscapes.
