Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Maintaining accurate records of all goods received and issued from the hotel's inventory. This includes food and beverage items, linens, cleaning supplies, guest amenities, and other products used by various departments within the hotel.

2. Coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to quality standards.

3. Ensuring that all items in the inventory are stored properly and safely. Implementing proper storage techniques to prevent damage, spoilage, or loss of goods.

4. Monitoring inventory levels and initiate orders to replenish stock as needed. Anticipate demand based on historical data and upcoming events or promotions.

5. Inspecting incoming shipments for accuracy and quality. Reject or return any items that do not meet the hotel's standards.

6. Maintain detailed records of all transactions, including purchase orders, invoices, and inventory reports. Ensure compliance with accounting and auditing procedures.

7. Working closely with other departments, such as housekeeping, kitchen, and maintenance, to fulfill their supply needs and address any issues or concerns promptly.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, Master's degree or

professional certification is a plus.

Training/Experience:

• Proven experience in a finance role, preferably in the hospitality or related industry.

• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.

• In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and best practices.

• Excellent leadership and people management skills.

• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.

• Effective communication and presentation skills.

• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
