Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory levels by conducting regular stock counts and reconciling discrepancies to ensure accurate records.
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders to maintain product integrity.
  • Organize and store products efficiently, ensuring optimal use of storage space while facilitating easy access for fast retrieval.
  • Prepare and issue materials for production or sales operations while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, and disposals for auditing purposes.
  • Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to forecast inventory needs and avoid stockouts or excesses.

Desired Candidate Profile


Knowledge

  • Inventory and warehouse management principles, processes, and systems

  • Warehouse operations and documentation (GRN, invoices, delivery notes)

  • Basic supply chain flow

  • Familiarity with ERP/inventory systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)


Skills

  • Attention to detail and accurate record-keeping

  • Communication (oral and written)

  • Time management and teamwork

  • Basic computer skills (Excel, inventory systems)

  • Problem-solving (stock discrepancies, delays)


  • Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (minimum)

  • Diploma/certification in logistics or supply chain (preferred)


Experience

  • 1–3 years in warehouse or inventory roles

  • Experience with inventory systems, stock audits, and reporting


Optional

  • Forklift license

  • Light vehicle driving license
