Job description

Within the logistics department of our company in Algeria, you will be in charge of ensuring the physical and IT management of stocks, from reception to distribution, in order to guarantee the availability of raw materials, packaging and finished products while respecting the quality, safety and traceability standards in force at Lesaffre.

Missions:

- Management and storage:

Receive raw materials, packaging and finished products.

Check the conformity of deliveries (quantity, quality, documentation) and report any anomaly.

Store goods in the designated areas according to current procedures.

Ensure the cleanliness, safety and organization of the warehouse.

Regularly check storage conditions (temperature, humidity).

Identify and isolate expired, non-conforming or damaged products.

Control the quantities received and the quality of the products in relation to the purchase orders and certificates.

Maintain adequate stock levels to avoid stock-outs.

Enter all inputs and outputs to the ERP system/inventory management software.

Maintain stock sheets and prepare regular inventories.

Identify stock discrepancies and propose corrective actions.

- Preparation and distribution:

Prepare orders for production and shipments

Properly labeling and identifying outgoing products

Loading and unloading products in compliance with safety standards.

Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure smooth operations

- Safety, Quality and Environment:

Apply HACCP and ISO procedures.

Follow safety guidelines and wear PPE (personal protective equipment).

Participate in internal audits and contribute to continuous improvement

Qualifications

With a background in logistics, inventory management or equivalent, you have 1 to 3 years' experience in a similar position, ideally in the agri-food industry.

Skills:

Mastery of storage and stock management procedures.

Knowledge of ERP/WMS software and inventories.

Compliance with quality standards and food safety.

Rigor, organization and attention to detail.

Team player and effective communication.

Responsiveness and ability to manage priorities.
