Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Issue materials and supplies to construction teams as per project requirements and maintain accurate records.

Monitor stock levels and initiate timely requisitions to avoid shortages or overstocking.

Coordinate with procurement and project management teams to ensure timely availability of materials.

Conduct regular physical inventory checks and reconcile with inventory management systems.

Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety standards within the store area.

Prepare and submit inventory reports, stock movement logs, and discrepancy reports as required.

Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations in all storekeeping activities.

Assist in the disposal or return of surplus, damaged, or obsolete materials according to company procedures.

Desired Candidate Profile

Receive, inspect, and record deliveries of construction materials, tools, and equipment.

Organize and maintain inventory in the store, ensuring materials are stored safely and efficiently.

2-5 years of proven experience as a Storekeeper, preferably in the construction industry.

Strong knowledge of construction materials, tools, and equipment.

Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer applications.

Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical ability to handle, move, and organize construction materials.

Commitment to maintaining safety and cleanliness standards.

Willingness to work on-site and adapt to changing project needs.
