Roles & Responsibilities

Job Purpose:
The Storekeeper is responsible for efficiently managing site store, ensuring accurate control, storage, and issuance of materials, tools, and equipment for luxury residential construction projects. The role ensures compliance with FIFO and 5S principles to maintain accuracy, organization, and smooth site operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries against LPOs, delivery notes, and material requests; report discrepancies immediately.
  • Read and encode material data details (item descriptions, quantities, codes, and specifications) accurately into inventory records, ERP software.
  • Organize and maintain the store in a clean, safe, and systematic condition.
  • Ensure all materials are properly labeled, stacked, and stored as per project and safety requirements.
  • Monitor stock levels, maintain minimum and reorder quantities, and raise timely purchase requests.
  • Maintain accurate manual and electronic inventory records for all materials, consumables, and tools.
  • Track issuance and return of tools and equipment; report any loss or damage promptly.
  • Coordinate with procurement and site teams to ensure timely material availability.
  • Prepare daily and monthly material usage and stock reports.
  • Follow all Health & Safety policies and ensure correct use of PPE.
  • Maintain a neat appearance, personal hygiene, and professional conduct reflecting company standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years of UAE experience as a Storekeeper in a construction company (luxury villas preferred).
  • Knowledge of Civil, MEP, and Finishing materials.
  • Computer literate – proficient in MS Office, Tally, and inventory management systems.
  • Ability to read and encode material data accurately (descriptions, codes, quantities, and supplier references).
  • Conversational knowledge of English for daily communication with procurement and site teams.
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet project timelines.
