Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Receive and store goods according to ID numbers and company guidelines.
  • Enter and update goods in the inventory system to keep records accurate.
  • Check the condition of the materials received and report any issues to the line manager.
  • Track inventory levels and assist with ordering and replenishing materials as needed.
  • Perform regular checks of stored goods to match physical inventory with system records and report discrepancies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized storage area to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Update and manage records and files related to inventory and orders.
  • Communicate with suppliers and vendors regarding deliveries and issues.
  • Assist with stocktaking and inventory counts.
  • Follow safety procedures for handling and storing materials.
  • Support other team members and help with training new staff on inventory procedures.
  • Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 2 - 4 years’ experience in storekeeping and preferably in a technical environment
  • Bachelor’s or High school Diploma
  • Coordination skills, numerical skills, knowledge in inventory principles, security cautious, understanding and following SOPs and instructions, attention to detail, communication skills. Proficiency in Windows and Office Tools.
