Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead strategy development and transformation initiatives across multiple organizational functions and business units, with emphasis on optimizing asset portfolios and maximizing asset value creation
Drive the execution of strategic objectives by collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to align asset management strategies with organizational goals
Manage complex client engagements and consulting projects from conception through implementation, incorporating asset management best practices and lifecycle considerations
Develop comprehensive strategic plans that align with organizational goals, market opportunities, and optimal asset allocation strategies
Conduct market analysis and competitive assessments to inform strategic recommendations and identify asset management opportunities
Facilitate stakeholder alignment and change management throughout strategic transformation initiatives, ensuring buy-in on asset management strategies
Monitor and report on strategic performance metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and asset performance benchmarks
Mentor and guide team members on strategic planning methodologies, asset management best practices, and portfolio optimization techniques
Identify and mitigate risks associated with strategic initiatives, organizational change, and asset portfolio exposure
Present strategic recommendations and findings to executive leadership and board-level stakeholders, highlighting asset management implications and value drivers
Develop and maintain strategic roadmaps that outline key milestones, timelines, resource requirements, and asset deployment schedules
Allocate budgets and resources effectively to support strategic initiatives, optimize asset utilization, and ensure superior risk-adjusted returns on investment
Conduct scenario planning and develop contingency strategies to address potential market disruptions, asset performance volatility, and organizational challenges
Gather and analyze competitive intelligence to identify emerging market trends, asset management innovations, and opportunities for organizational differentiation
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in strategic planning, business strategy, or management consulting
- Demonstrated expertise in asset management, portfolio optimization, or related financial planning disciplines
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing complex organizational initiatives
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present to executive and board-level audiences
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree (MBA, MPA, or equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance, or Strategic Management
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Experience in asset lifecycle management or portfolio management within corporate or institutional settings
- Demonstrated success in change management and organizational transformation initiatives
- Knowledge of market analysis tools, competitive intelligence platforms, and strategic planning software
- Experience developing and implementing strategic roadmaps and performance management frameworks
