Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Accountabilities
1. Strategy Development and Sector Initiatives
Support the development and refinement of strategies aimed at accelerating the growth of Egypt s ICT and offshoring sectors.
Contribute to the design of new programs and initiatives aligned with national digital economy priorities.
Assist in updating existing strategies based on market developments, industry trends, and stakeholder input.
Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for sector growth and competitiveness.
Support the design of sector development initiatives including talent programs, industry enablement programs, and ecosystem development initiatives.
2. Strategic Planning
Translate strategic objectives into clear action plans and implementation roadmaps.
Coordinate inputs from internal teams to ensure alignment across initiatives.
Support annual and multi-year planning cycles for ICT market development initiatives.
Develop structured frameworks for monitoring and evaluating the progress of programs and initiatives.
Prepare strategic reports, briefing materials, and progress updates for senior leadership.
3. Program and Project Management
Manage strategic initiatives and milestones as structured projects with defined scope, timelines, and deliverables.
Develop project plans, track progress, and coordinate execution across multiple stakeholders.
Monitor program performance and identify risks, delays, or implementation challenges.
Ensure that projects remain aligned with strategic objectives and deliver measurable outcomes.
Maintain clear documentation and reporting on project status and deliverables.
4. Stakeholder Coordination and External Engagement
Coordinate closely with internal departments to gather inputs and ensure alignment on strategy and execution.
Engage with external partners such as consulting firms, development organizations, international agencies, and industry stakeholders.
Facilitate collaboration between internal teams and external partners involved in strategy development or program implementation.
Support the management of external consultants engaged in strategic projects.
Required Skills
Strategic analysis and research
Project management methodologies (PMI, PRINCE2, Agile, or similar)
Program design and implementation
Data analysis and structured problem solving
Advanced PowerPoint and presentation development
Strong written communication and reporting skills
Ability to operate in complex multi-stakeholder environments
Strong communication and facilitation skills
Strategic thinking with strong execution discipline
Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
Excellent stakeholder management and coordination skills
Strong analytical and structured problem-solving capabilities
High attention to detail and organizational skills.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Public Policy, or a related field.
Master s degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, International Development, or a related discipline is preferred.
Required Experience
7 10 years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Strategy consulting
- Program or project management
- Economic or sector development
- Development organizations or government initiatives
- ICT industry or technology sector initiatives
Experience working with consulting firms, international organizations, or development programs is strongly preferred.
ICT industry and digital economy trends.
Sector development and economic development frameworks
Strategy development methodologies
Program design and policy implementation
Project and program management frameworks
Public-private partnership models
International development and donor-funded programs.
