Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Knowledge and experience in Road Lighting Design System.
  • Liaison with engineers and technicians from within the organization and with external consultants and contractors
  • Expertise in In House design.
  • Review of related consultants' submissions.
  • Experience in Professional contribution to modification of Design manual / standard and Specification.
  • Proficiency in Lighting Design Software and related electrical design software.
  • Thoroughly Knowledge of International /Local standard
  • Experience in material review for Pre-qualification /material submittal
  • Assume responsibility and represent the design department for all aspects related to street & infrastructure lighting engineering
  • Assist in external & internal coordination pertinent to lighting inception & design.
  • Review, comment / recommend acceptance or otherwise of related consultants' submissions.
  • Liaise with utilities providers and other stakeholders
  • Performance of actual design duties as directed.
  • Performance of other related duties as per management instructions.

  • BSc / BEng or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
  • 5 years of demonstrable experience in design & construction of highway projects, with comprehensive exposure to power supply, ITS, telecommunications, and related disciplines.
  • Excellent written and verbal English language communication skills

  • 5 years of demonstrable experience in design & construction of highway projects, with comprehensive exposure to power supply, ITS, telecommunications, and related disciplines.
  • Working knowledge of written and spoken Arabic would be advantageous
  • Excellent written and verbal English language communication skills
