Position Overview

Parsons Corporation is seeking a skilled and motivated Structural Design Engineer specializing in Bridges and Civil Structures to join its expanding engineering team in Dubai. This role involves the planning, design, and analysis of bridge and infrastructure structures within major transportation and community development projects. Key Responsibilities

* Perform structural analysis and design of bridges, tunnels, underpasses, culverts, and related civil structures at both preliminary and detailed design stages.
* Develop and refine BIM models for bridge and structural components to support coordination and design integration.
* Conduct site inspections, condition assessments, and surveys to validate design data and evaluate existing structures.
* Prepare detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications in compliance with international and local standards.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordination across design disciplines, including geotechnical, roadway, and utilities.
* Provide technical input, mentoring, and guidance to designers, draftsmen, and junior engineers.
* Support the preparation of design reports, cost estimates, and technical documentation for project submissions.
* Contribute to project quality reviews, value engineering exercises, and innovation initiatives to enhance design efficiency.
* Participate in client and stakeholder meetings, ensuring effective communication and design presentation.
* Stay updated with the latest bridge design technologies, materials, and modeling techniques.

Ideal Profile

* Bachelor s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master s degree preferred).
* Minimum 5 years of experience in bridge and structural design within major infrastructure projects.
* Proficiency in structural analysis software such as MIDAS Civil, CSi Bridge, SAP2000, and Autodesk Structural Bridge Design.
* Hands-on experience with BIM tools, Bentley OpenBridge Modeler, and Revit.
* Strong understanding of design codes, load standards, and international best practices.
* Excellent technical documentation and analytical problem-solving skills.
* Effective communicator with strong organizational and teamwork abilities.
