Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a strong grasp of structural mechanics, applying engineering principles to analyze and design safe, efficient structures.
- Proficient in international design codes, including British Standards (BS), Eurocodes (EN), and American codes (ACI, ASCE, etc.), ensuring compliance across global projects.
- Skilled in Finite Element Analysis (FEA), with hands-on experience using industry-standard software such as ETABS and SAFE for modeling and structural simulation.
- Capable of producing comprehensive design documentation across all project phases from concept design to Issued for Construction (IFC).
- Proven track record in delivering medium-to-large scale building projects, meeting performance, safety, and timeline benchmarks.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively, with a proactive attitude toward learning and adopting new engineering tools and methodologies.
- Experienced in interdisciplinary coordination, integrating structural designs with architectural, MEP, and other engineering disciplines.
- Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey technical concepts and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Prior Middle East project experience is highly desirable, offering familiarity with regional standards and practices.
- Registered or in the process of registration with the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) in Qatar, demonstrating professional credibility and compliance with local regulations.
