Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Analyze project requirements and develop efficient structural designs that meet all safety and performance standards.
- Perform complex structural calculations using engineering principles and software.
- Select appropriate building materials and construction methods for optimal results.
- Create and maintain detailed construction drawings and specifications
- Collaborate with all engineering departments to ensure project integration and successful execution.
- Prepare and review technical reports and calculations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest building codes, regulations, and industry best practices in the UAE.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural design within an engineering consulting company.
- Proven experience in designing a variety of building structures using strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in structural engineering software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAFE).
- Excellent understanding of building codes and regulations applicable in the UAE.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Proficiency in Revit is an advantage.
