Responsibilities

• Develop detailed structural designs using cutting-edge technology and software tools.
• Conduct site assessments to determine structural design requirements and limitations.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure structural designs meet project standards.
• Create and analyze blueprints and specifications for new construction projects.
• Review and recommend modifications to existing designs and construction plans.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation for all design and engineering activities.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and codes.
• Perform risk assessments and propose solutions for potential structural issues.
• Provide engineering support during the construction phase for project success.
• Lead project meetings and provide updates to stakeholders on design progress.
• Stay informed on industry trends to adopt new techniques and materials in designs.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize design processes and outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Structural Engineering or a related field is required.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in structural design and analysis.
• Proficiency in structural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and STAAD.Pro.
• Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and construction methods.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Effective communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
