Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing reinforced concrete and steel structures in accordance with relevant codes and standards
  • Performing structural analysis and modelling using ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE and related software
  • Preparing and reviewing structural design drawings
  • Preparing design calculation sheets and technical reports
  • Coordinating with architectural and MEP teams to develop integrated structural solutions
  • Participating in value engineering to optimize structural systems for cost and performance
  • Providing technical support during construction, including occasional site visits

Desired Candidate Profile

B.Sc. in Civil Engineering

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in structural design or a related field
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE and Microsoft Office
  • Good understanding of relevant local and international building codes and standards
  • Strong command of English (written and spoken)
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings and translate them into practical structural solutions
  • Strong problem solving, critical thinking and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to multitask, organize and prioritize work, and meet project deadlines
