Structural Designer / Draftsman Ali & Sons

Prepare detailed structural drawings including general arrangement (GA), fabrication drawings, and shop drawings.

Develop 2D and 3D structural models using design software (AutoCAD, Tekla, or similar).

Interpret engineering designs, specifications, and calculations to produce accurate drawings.

Coordinate with engineering, piping, and project teams to ensure design integration and constructability.

Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.

Generate material take-offs (MTO) and support procurement activities.

Incorporate design revisions and maintain version control of all drawings.

Perform clash checks and resolve design conflicts in coordination with other disciplines.

Provide support during fabrication and installation by clarifying design details.

Maintain proper documentation and ensure timely submission of deliverables.

Ensure adherence to company quality and HSE standards in all design activities.

Perform additional duties as assigned by the Engineering Manager or Lead Designer.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: Diploma or Degree in Civil / Structural / Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Experience: Minimum 3 6 years of experience in structural design within oil & gas, marine, or EPC projects.

Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, or equivalent.

Strong understanding of structural design, fabrication drawings, and industry standards.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Experience in 3D modeling and clash detection is an advantage.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Proficient in MS Office.

Fluency in English (mandatory).
