Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare basic design drawings based on customer requirements and applicable rules, regulations, codes, and specifications.

  • Develop 3D models for feasibility study, basic design, and detailed engineering.

  • Prepare Structural GA drawings and support drawings.

  • Generate 3D model clash reports and ensure timely resolution.

  • Prepare fabrication drawings and nesting drawings for production.

  • Develop fabrication sequences and erection drawings.

  • Prepare lifting study drawings as required for project execution.

  • Prepare MTO / BOQ for estimation purposes.

  • Review client specifications and design input documents.

  • Review drawings received from vendors and subcontractors.

  • Resolve technical queries and clarifications raised by the production team.

  • Maintain proper arrangement and filing of issued drawings for future retrieval.

  • Carry out all tasks as required by line management towards successful project completion.

Desired Candidate Profile

· Education: Diploma or Degree in Civil / Structural / Mechanical Engineering or related field. · Experience: Minimum 3–6 years of experience in structural design within oil & gas, marine, or EPC projects. · Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, or equivalent. · Strong understanding of structural design, fabrication drawings, and industry standards. · Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. · Experience in 3D modeling and clash detection is an advantage. · Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. · Good communication and coordination skills. · Proficient in MS Office. · Fluency in English (mandatory).
