Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and develop structural drawings (plans, sections, and details) for reinforced concrete and steel structures.
  • Convert conceptual and design sketches into detailed AutoCAD drawings.
  • Coordinate with Structural Engineers and Architectural Draftsmen to ensure design consistency.
  • Update and revise drawings according to engineers comments and site requirements.
  • Ensure that all drawings comply with company standards, codes, and specifications.
  • Assist in preparing as-built drawings and shop drawings when required.
  • Maintain proper filing and documentation of drawings and revisions.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines (Architectural, MEP) to avoid design conflicts.
  • Diploma or Bachelor s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Structural Draftsman in a consulting company.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit Structure is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of structural detailing (reinforcement, sections, foundations, slabs, beams, columns).
  • Understanding of engineering drawings, codes, and standards.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in drawings.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.

Desired Candidate Profile
