Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Structural Draftsperson to join our site-based technical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing general arrangement drawings, detailed sections, and comprehensive bar bending schedules (BBS) under the supervision of structural engineers.
The role includes superimposing structural drawings with architectural and MEP layouts to identify and flag clashes for coordination. You will also support the engineering team by converting design concepts and calculations into accurate shop drawings and construction documents in line with project and authority standards
Qualifications & Skills:
· Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Structural Draftsperson in the UAE or GCC (construction or consultancy).
· Diploma in Civil / Structural Drafting or related field (Preferred)
· Capable of producing general arrangement drawings & bar bending schedules.
· Ability to interpret structural calculations and engineer markups.
· Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Software & Tools:
- AutoCAD
- Excel.
Desired Candidate Profile
- A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field is essential for technical understanding.
