Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Design & Analysis: Create structural blueprints and analyze how buildings withstand pressures like wind, earthquakes, and gravity.
Calculations & Modeling: Calculate loads, stresses, and material requirements using computational tools.
Inspection & Safety: Inspect existing structures or monitor ongoing construction to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
Collaboration: Work closely with architects, civil engineers, and contractors to ensure design feasibility and budget adherence.
Documentation: Prepare technical reports, drawings, and project specifications.
Desired Candidate Profile
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education: A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE, AutoCAD).
Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction materials (steel, concrete, wood) and building regulations.
Attributes: Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
