Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Design and analyze structural components for buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects.
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and calculations to ensure structural integrity and compliance with codes.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to develop effective project solutions.
- Conduct site inspections and supervise construction activities to ensure adherence to design and safety standards.
- Review and approve structural shop drawings and material submittals.
- Perform structural assessments and recommend modifications or repairs as needed.
- Utilize advanced engineering software for modeling, simulation, and analysis.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for stakeholders.
- Ensure all projects are completed within established timelines and budgets.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, codes, and best practices.
Bachelor s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field.
- 5 to 7 years of proven experience in structural engineering roles.
- Strong knowledge of structural analysis and design principles.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, SAP2000, ETABS, or similar.
- Familiarity with local and international building codes and standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent is an advantage.
