Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Focus is on structural calculation for SG Fa ade and Gyproc drywall systems
- Develop and maintain library / excel sheet with all the system proposed and continuously update it, so that the sales team can rely on these sheets for quick proposals.
- Develop and present structural calculations in market acceptable software like SAP 2000, third party fixing/anchor calculations, etc.
- To provide visual representations of bespoke technical solutions in the form of AutoCAD, Revit drawings as required.
- Support SG team and customers in the project meeting
- Professional and expert reply/substantiation/clarification to all the structural comments raised by the customer
- Contribute to the support of all product groups (Drylining, MF Ceilings, Perforated Ceilings, Fa ade)
- To provide concept details in CAD or PDF for discussion purposes and / or development in line with NPD requirements of the business
- To arrange with the technical support specialist & internal teams in relation to detailing and arrangement of our products and systems specific to levels of performance
- To support commercial team in reviewing contractor shop drawings and provide Gyproc comments in line with Gyproc recommendations.
- Drawing support for White book and other company literature
- To draught, maintain and update a complete library of drawings and details in various formats to cover all systems and most junctions, abutments, head and base details etc. These details include, but are not limited to Typical, Example, Project Specific, Concept, Specification Template drawings, drawings for testing, Saint-Gobain Fa ade system details, Weber systems and drawing files suitable for managing the BIM process. These can be either individual drawings and / or binders
- To support development of project specific submittal packs with project specific proposal drawings, concept detail and example details for major strategic projects in Egypt
- Support the technical academy team where necessary in providing drawings to support installation design and advice for Gyproc products and systems
- The priority is to support the Technical, Specification and Sales teams across the market through structural calculation support and detailing
