Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare structural analysis and design calculations for concrete, steel, and masonry structures.
  • Develop detailed structural drawings and specifications in coordination with architects and MEPengineers.
  • Ensure all structural designs comply with local building codes, standards, and safety regulations (e.g., ISCodes, ACI, AISC, Eurocodes).
  • Review and validate drawings, BOQs, and construction documents.
  • Supervise site execution to ensure that construction aligns with the approved design and qualitystandards.
  • Liaise with contractors, consultants, and project managers for design coordination and executionplanning.
  • Conduct structural assessments for existing buildings and recommend retrofitting or strengtheningsolutions.
  • Provide technical support and resolve issues during the construction phase (e.g., RFIs, site queries).
  • Use structural design and analysis software such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAFE, AutoCAD, Revit, andSAP2000.
  • Assist in value engineering and optimizing structural design for cost and material efficiency.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

Strong knowledge of structural systems and materials (RCC, steel, prestressed concrete, etc.).

Familiar with construction methods, site practices, and quality standards.

Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
