Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Oversee and manage structural works at site for infrastructure, road, bridge, and utility projects

  2. Review and implement approved IFC drawings, shop drawings, and method statements

  3. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and authority inspectors during inspections and approvals

  4. Ensure compliance with UAE codes, specifications, project standards, and safety regulations

  5. Supervise construction activities including foundations, substructures, superstructures, and concrete works

  6. Monitor site progress, quality, and structural integrity

  7. Resolve site-related structural design and execution issues

  8. Prepare and submit technical reports, RFIs, MIRs, and inspection requests

  9. Support project teams during authority inspections and approvals

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Minimum 7 years of experience as a Structural Engineer in infrastructure projects

  2. Proven experience in roads, bridges, utilities, and large infrastructure developments

  3. Mandatory authority approval experience with RTA, DM / DMT, Aldar, TAQA other UAE government or semi-government authorities

  4. Strong knowledge of UAE construction standards and authority procedures

  5. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering

  6. Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and site management skills
