Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Review client IFC/tender drawings and prepare/answer technical queries (RFIs)
  • Prepare structural calculations, load analysis, and design verification
  • Prepare and review structural shop drawings
  • Design steel structures (SHS, RHS, plates, channels, beams, anchors, base plates)
  • Prepare method statements and technical submittals
  • Obtain approvals from Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, consultants, and client engineers
  • Provide structural solutions for hot aisle / cold aisle containment systems, steel ceilings, suspended structures, platforms, walkways, pergolas, and equipment supports
  • Coordinate with fabrication team to ensure drawings are practical for manufacturing
  • Attend site visits when required for inspections and approvals
  • Stamp drawings when required (if holding UAE engineer license)

Desired Candidate Profile

  • UAE driving license
  • Experience in data center or industrial steel works
  • Eligible for engineer approval registration in UAE
