Roles & Responsibilities

  • Interpret blueprints and structural drawings to accurately determine rebar placement, size, and spacing, ensuring adherence to project specifications.
  • Cut, bend, and fabricate rebar according to detailed plans, using specialized tools like rebar cutters, benders, and welding equipment, guaranteeing precision.
  • Securely position and tie rebar in concrete forms, employing various tying methods to create a robust reinforcing framework, vital for structural integrity.
  • Inspect rebar assemblies for correct dimensions, alignment, and secure connections, identifying and rectifying any discrepancies before concrete pouring.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent, providing a foundational understanding of construction principles.
  • Possession of a relevant certification in rebar installation or a related field, demonstrating specialized knowledge.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in structural rebar work, showcasing practical proficiency.
  • Prior experience working on infrastructure projects, demonstrating the ability to handle complex rebar installations.
