Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
A reputed university in the UAE is seeking a motivated and experienced Student Leadership and Activities Supervisor to support student engagement and enhance campus life. This role plays a vital part in developing student leadership, promoting cultural diversity, and delivering impactful co-curricular programs that contribute to a vibrant and inclusive university community.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and deliver campus-wide events, orientations, cultural celebrations, and student engagement initiatives.
- Design and implement leadership development programs, workshops, and training for student leaders and student clubs.
- Manage peer leadership and ambassador programs to support first-year student transition and integration.
- Develop culturally inclusive activities that celebrate diversity and promote global awareness.
- Coordinate local and off-campus trips in compliance with university policies and safety requirements.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and ongoing support to student leaders and peer mentors.
- Oversee student publications and student-led creative initiatives.
- Facilitate student participation in leadership conferences, seminars, and development opportunities.
- Ensure effective promotion and media coverage of student activities and events.
- Maintain accurate documentation, budgets, evaluations, and reports, and submit regular updates to senior management.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Student Life.
Desired Candidate Profile
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5–7 years of experience in student leadership, student activities, or higher education administration..
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Strong commitment to student development and student engagement.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Proficiency in MS Office and event management tools.
