Study Engineer


Job Description

  • Analyze the client's explicit and implicit needs,
  • Define a response architecture in the form of tasks, batches, or units of work.
  • Can contribute to the monitoring and planning of project activities, costs and associated risks,
  • Anticipate project deviations and share risk management with management.
  • Ensure the control and verification of the conformity of deliverables,
  • Communicating with the client and the project team,
  • Review the progress with the client,
  • Evaluate the entire service with the client.
  • Suggest areas for improvement.
  • Participate in establishing the specifications.
  • Helps to evaluate the return on investment (costs, profitability, etc.).
  • Prepare the technical files.
  • Coordinate and manage a research project overall.
  • Perform services in accordance with the contract, specified codes and internal rules.
  • Inform the project manager or group leader and/or the technical coordinator of the progress of the tasks assigned to them.
  • Process the changes
  • Create, adapt, develop tools and capitalize on business
  • Self-check and verify all documents or calculations he performs before submitting them to the technical coordinator
  • Verify the accuracy of the results obtained after computer processing by manually calculating the order of magnitude of the results.
  • Adhere to quality rules and procedures in collaboration with the project quality coordinator
  • Make the necessary corrections after review by the technical coordinator
  • Prepare the Calculation File

Job Requirements

  • with an engineering background and initial professional experience that allowed him to acquire the methodology and technical knowledge
  • Knowledge of a calculation software (PATRAN, NASTRAN, SAMCEF, ABAQUS, ANSYS, ICEM, SAP) or drawing (CATIA, AUTOCAD, SOLIDWORKS, ) is desirable.
  • Entry-level candidates with relevant internship experience in their field of study, or those with experience in aeronautical or automotive structures as a structural engineer.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Engineering degree with initial professional experience that has allowed the acquisition of methodology and technical knowledge.
- Knowledge of calculation software (PATRAN, NASTRAN, SAMCEF, ABAQUS, ANSYS, ICEM, SAP) or drafting software (CATIA, AUTOCAD, SOLIDWORKS) is desirable.
- Starting with a relevant internship in the field of study or demonstrating experience in aeronautical or automotive structures as a calculation engineer.
