Roles & Responsibilities
Safran Aircraft Engines Services Casablanca (SAESC) has launched the construction of a new shop in Morocco.
Our new workshop located in the Casablanca-Settat region will provide maintenance for new types of civil aircraft engines (LEAP) which equip in particular the Airbus A320neo and the Boeing 737Max.
As Subcontracting Manager, your objective will be to ensure the management of subcontracting processes in order to achieve the performance objectives set in terms of OTD delivery and TAT.
In this context, you will be required to:
- Manage the subcontracting team by ensuring the achievement of set operational objectives and by ensuring the development of their professional skills;
- Ensure the proper management of the processing and monitoring of repair orders;
- Ensure active monitoring of orders with suppliers;
- Evaluate the performance of subcontractors (OTQ, OTD) and implement the necessary actions in case of discrepancies;
- Lead the implementation of internal and external action plans in case of non-compliance with supplier delivery targets in order to avoid production stoppages;
- Ensure proper monitoring of quarantine in close collaboration with the QA Department in order to better manage the performance of subcontractors;
- Adopting a customer-oriented mindset in order to respect the contractual delivery deadline and anticipating the implementation of solutions in case of risk of delay;
- Participate in planning sessions and get involved in building the baseline schedule per engine on the Gate 2 section by providing a logistical commitment;
- Participate in the optimization of stocks (VEX) within the supply scope in collaboration with the stock manager;
- Set up and manage subcontracting dashboards;
Desired Candidate Profile
Engineering or business school with an industrial engineering/logistics option, with more than 8 years of experience in Supply chain management and at least 4 years as a subcontracting or procurement manager in an industrial structure, preferably in the aeronautical or automotive sector.
