Roles & Responsibilities
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Bridges & Highway Structures to join our team! In this role you will get to advice on all technical matters the Bridges Design Team.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Professional experience of +25 years in the design and construction of Bridges and other highways structures.
- Technical leadership and guidance to the bridges design team.
- Mentor the younger team members.
- Attend meetings with the client and provide technical solutions in complex matters.
- Work closely with the Bridges lead to develop procedures and practices to be followed by the team members.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelors in Civil Engineering from a reputable University.
- Master's degree in Structural Engineering will be strongly recommended.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- International experience in large scale infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of the construction and design aspects of vehicular viaducts.
- Very good understanding of international codes, such as AASHTO LRFD, & Eurocode.
- Knowledge in software such as Midas Civil, CSi Bridge or similar.
