Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Activities

Governance and Compliance

  • Participate in developing and implementing governance frameworks to ensure that all SANS subsidiaries adhere to regulatory requirements and corporate policies.
  • Participate in regularly reviewing and updating compliance protocols in alignment with national and international aviation standards.

Performance Monitoring

  • Participate in establishing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for each subsidiary, monitoring financial and operational performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyze performance data to support strategic decision-making and drive accountability within subsidiary operations.

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Collect and analyze financial and operational data from subsidiaries to identify trends and performance gaps.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to management.

Relationship Management

  • Support the development and maintenance of strong relationships between SANS and its subsidiaries.
  • Collaborate with subsidiary teams to facilitate effective communication and engagement.

Subsidiaries Engagement

  • Participate in organizing meetings, workshops, and feedback sessions with subsidiaries to gather insights and promote collaboration.
  • Contribute to the development of communication materials to keep subsidiaries informed of key initiatives and updates.

Reporting and Documentation

  • Maintain accurate documentation of interactions and processes related to subsidiary governance.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.

Policies, Processes and Procedures

  • Support monitoring day-to-day activities to ensure compliance with stipulated policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems and processes taking into account leading practices, changes in business environment, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
