Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Accountabilities & Key Roles:
Develop and implement governance frameworks for subsidiaries to ensure compliance with Arab Bank's operational standards and policies.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of operational processes within subsidiaries, recommending improvements where necessary.
Coordinate with subsidiaries to ensure alignment with the bank's strategic objectives and operational goals.
Conduct regular audits and assessments of subsidiary operations to identify risks and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
Facilitate communication between the central operations team and subsidiaries to ensure seamless integration of processes and policies.
Prepare detailed reports on subsidiaries' operational performance for senior management review.
Support subsidiaries in optimizing their operational workflows to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Lead initiatives to enhance the governance structure and practices within subsidiary operations.
Act as the key liaison for subsidiaries in resolving operational issues and challenges.
Ensure subsidiaries maintain high standards of customer service in operational transactions.
Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the operational capabilities of subsidiary staff.
Implement best practices in risk management across subsidiary operations.
Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure subsidiaries have the necessary technological support for their operations.
Assist in the development of subsidiary-specific operational policies and procedures.
Keep abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes to advise subsidiaries on necessary adjustments.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in bank operations, governance, or a related field, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Competencies:
Strong understanding of banking operations and governance frameworks.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven leadership and team management abilities.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the banking sector.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
