Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day automation works at site including PLC, SCADA, DCS, and instrumentation systems
- Coordinate with engineers, technicians, and subcontractors for timely execution of tasks
- Ensure installation, wiring, loop checking, and commissioning activities are carried out as per drawings and standards
- Monitor project progress and report status to the Project/Automation Engineer
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation and control systems
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements
- Review technical documents such as P&IDs, control philosophies, I/O lists, and wiring diagrams
- Support FAT, SAT, and site testing activities
- Maintain records of work progress, inspections, and test results
- Ensure proper allocation of manpower and materials at site
Desired Candidate Profile
Diploma / Bachelor s in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Automation Engineering
- 5 8 years of experience in automation works in Oil & Gas / Industrial projects
- Hands-on experience with PLC (Siemens, Allen Bradley), SCADA, DCS systems
- Good understanding of field instruments and control systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents
- Strong leadership and coordination skills
