Supervisor, Corporate Data Network Engineering Orange

Purpose of the job

Engineering of all Orange Converged Data Network in all corporate sites

Support changes, new designs , new implementation, of all data network of all Orange Egypt Converged data network in all corporate sites, head quarters, data centers, and branches

Duties and responsibilities

• Engineering and implementation of all data network solutions in all Orange Egypt corporate sites (NileCity,Sphinx,Saqqara,Shops, Franchise, remote sites and any other corporate site
• Provide and implement up to date data center solutions in all Orange Egypt data centers
• Provide solutions for all Orange Egypt converged data network requirements including software configuration and hardware solutions
• Provide data centers load balancing switching solutions
• Data Network maintenance (EOL, EOS, IOS upgrades)
• Support with network solutions the expansion plan of all branches,shops, mini shops, franchise and all other types of sales and customer service projects
• Monitor network capacity of all corporate data network network, taking necessary action when needed
• Implement wireless solutions inside Orange Egypt corporate sites
• Support data network operations team with proper solutions and designs in maintaining data network KPIs
• Support with solutions all day-to-day requirements received from all corporate departments
• Support any corporate relocations/moves between sites
• Support any data centers move or relocations
• Apply Quality of Service (QOS) techniques upon request over Data network links to avoid any traffic congestion.
• Design any related routing or switching changes in Orange Egypt data centers.
• Plan for any down time action to ensure minimum or no impact on business continuity.
• Prepare the proper documentation of all implemented project

Job specification

Education

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Communications Engineering.
• CCNP, CCDP, PMP is a plus.

Experience

• Minimum 4 years of work experience, 2 of which in a similar field.
• Experience in Cisco Nexus Technology.
• Experience in Cisco, Juniper, F5 Equipment administration and capabilities.
• Experience and deep understanding of routing protocols, switching technologies and load balancing

Skills and abilities

• Very good English both spoken and written.
• Flexible to work out of working hours according to business needs
• Excellent communication skills.
• High ability to work under pressure.
• Good Knowledge in SDN Technologies.
• Good knowledge in Data Network security tools and equipment.
• Good knowledge about Data Centers design and requirements.
• Good knowledge of IT technologies and requirements
