Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Relevant technical and industry experience in Oil & Gas operations
Trade qualification / International certificate / Diploma / Degree in Electrical &
Instrumentation or related field
Minimum 10 years’ experience in offshore E&I construction and project management
Advanced knowledge of Campaign/Shutdown Management techniques (Oil & Gas /
Petrochemical / Refining / Production)
Strong knowledge of IEC, NEC, IEEE, ASHRAE, NFPA, API, and NORSOK standards
Strong knowledge of hazardous area classification (ATEX, IECEx), cable routing, tray
installation, lighting systems, control panels
Experience with DCS, SCADA, PLC, Fire & Gas, and automation systems
Ability to interpret/review P&IDs, isometrics, GA drawings, offshore piping layouts
Awareness/basic use of Primavera P6, MS Project
Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, EDMS, Document Management Systems
Offshore safety certifications: BOSIET, T-BOSIET, H2S
Certification: CompEx, Electrical Habilitation Level 2
Fluent English (listening, writing, speaking – technical vocabulary)
Self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision
Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills in multi-cultural environment
Medically and physically fit for offshore work and rotational schedules
Willingness to work extended hours during shutdowns
Desired Candidate Profile
Supervise and ensure safe execution of E&I construction activities offshore in line with
HSE policy
Manage preparation & execution teams (contractors, supervisors, technicians)
Plan and organize manpower, tools, equipment, consumables, materials
Review work packs, AFC drawings, permits, procedures before execution
Conduct toolbox talks, site surveys, risk assessments, constructability reviews
Create/manage PTW in ECOW, ensure daily compliance and approvals
Monitor work progress, report daily updates, escalate blockers to Offshore Construction
Supervisor
Coordinate with vendors, inspectors, commissioning and other discipline teams
Ensure E&I installations meet AFC drawings, project specifications and QA/QC standards
Oversee testing, calibration, pre-commissioning, support commissioning team
Manage logistics, call-off orders, material availability, and mobilization
Ensure punch list items cleared, as-built documentation and dossiers completed
