Roles & Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for all Nodes within the group in all areas, planning, development, and operation using all available resources within Orange Egypt.
  • Ensure answering all Orange group inquiries in a timely manner and with required quality.
  • Build and maintain network of business partners within Orange Egypt and to be able to give the required group technical support in all fields.
  • Help in troubleshooting critical or unusual issues that are raised during any of the new trials.
  • Develop new tools using frontend/backend programming languages based on affiliates needs.
  • Update and fix tools created by the team based on affiliates needs.
  • Find out new methods & techniques for improving the network Quality and cost.
  • Interface with different Ericsson and Orange Egypt teams (Engineering, operation, optimization, and rollout) to plan for the features trials.
  • Provide technical evaluation for the tested features with a clear recommendation whether to be deployed or not.
  • Set default parameters and setup templates for new features activation to be used by other teams.
  • Support Orange technical Skill Center in the areas of Contract management, maintenance contract negotiation, follow-up and SLAs.
  • Contribute to the group in the selection of suppliers by supporting Orange technical skill center and Sourcing teams.
  • Support Orange technical Skill Centers and Orange Affiliates in the areas of Product assurance.
  • Ensure timely Acceptance of New Products to Acceptable/Contractual Quality Levels.
  • Ensure Effectiveness of Suppliers Processes for Product Creation and Delivery.
  • Responsible for Continuous Improvement of Supplier Performance.
  • Monitor equipment field Performance.
  • Ensure effectiveness of Improvement Actions.

Job specification

Education
B.Sc. in Telecommunication and Electronics Engineering

Experience
Technical experience in Shell scripting (Unix/Linux) ,SQL, Java, Python.
Experience in charging systems OCS Nodes
Technical experience in PHP, HTML and CSS.
Knowledge in Telecommunication field especially in the field of system testing and troubleshooting.
Good knowledge of network E2E architecture and performance is preferred.
