Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily lifting and rigging operations at site.
Act as the appointed person/focal point for all lifting activities.
Review and execute lifting plans as per project requirements.
Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, and safety officers.
Ensure safe working practices and compliance with lifting standards.
Prepare required documentation for lifting operations.
Monitor the condition of lifting equipment and report issues.
Provide guidance and instruction to rigging personnel.
Maintain proper communication with site management and contractors.
Desired Skills & Experience
Must be 30 years of age or above.
Minimum qualification: Higher Secondary School Certificate / HNC or equivalent.
Physically fit to perform lifting and rigging supervisory duties.
Minimum 5 years of rigging experience, including 3 years in a supervisory role.
Adequate training and experience to work as an Appointed Person in overall control of lifting operations.
Strong command of English (read/write) to understand and execute lifting plans effectively.
Strong administrative and supervisory skills to schedule, monitor, and manage lifting personnel and equipment.
Experience in lifting plan documentation and its development.
Must hold a valid competence certificate issued by an approved TPCA or an internationally recognized body acceptable to Qatargas.
Completed minimum 5-day (fresh) or 3-day (refresher) lifting/rigging training.
