Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
As a IS Supplier Partnership Lead , you will be responsible for:
- Defining supplier strategy including management and optimization of supplier panels. Lead negotiations and allocate needs to specific suppliers.
- Negotiating terms and conditions and transmit information to Procurement.
- Managing claims.
- Including commercial sourcing management such as data analysis, negotiations support, etc. This may also include purchasing activities.
- Providing advice and guidance to functional management or business functions on approaches, projects and programs in the functional area or affecting business organization and ways of working.
- Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about approach and methods for solving complex problems
- Leading design and implementation of projects.
- Work goals typically span 1-2 years to complete and the impact is felt over the 12 month - 2 years' time horizon
- Coordinate with senior leadership of 3rd party vendors for managing relationship
- Act as the primary point of contact for escalation & resolving issues during procurement activities
- Provide guidance to procurement for market dynamics and 3rd party vendor landscape
Desired Candidate Profile
- Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
- Have a Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Commodity Management.
- Have an experience of working with suppliers directly.
- Be able to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
