Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end supply chain strategy and execution across UAE and GCC projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client expectations.

  • Manage strategic sourcing of industrial equipment, technical services, and critical materials (including hazardous items).

  • Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and ESG compliance.

  • Conduct supplier audits, performance evaluations, and risk assessments to maintain a robust vendor base.

  • Ensure full compliance with UAE customs regulations, free zone requirements, and GCC cross-border logistics.

  • Drive procurement planning and expediting activities, including identification and management of long-lead items.

  • Monitor delivery schedules, track shipments, and ensure timely availability of materials to support project timelines.

  • Manage cost control initiatives including cost-benefit analysis, budget adherence, and logistics optimization.

  • Handle variation orders, change management, and support claims/dispute resolution with proper documentation and early escalation.

  • Ensure adherence to procurement governance, delegated authority, and ethical sourcing standards.

  • Maintain audit-ready documentation, supplier records, and system data integrity.

  • Ensure compliance with HSE standards and site readiness requirements across all supply chain activities.

  • Collaborate closely with operations, engineering, finance, and technology teams to ensure seamless project execution.

  • Support project teams through effective vendor coordination and material planning.

  • Mentor and guide team members, promoting best practices and continuous improvement in supply chain processes.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum 8–12 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics within EPC, Oil & Gas, or industrial sectors.

  • Strong experience in sourcing industrial equipment, technical services, and handling complex procurement packages.

  • Proven track record in managing suppliers, negotiations, and contract execution across GCC markets.

  • Solid understanding of UAE customs regulations, free zones, and regional logistics requirements.

  • Experience handling hazardous materials procurement and compliance requirements is highly preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of procurement planning, expediting, and supply chain risk management.

  • Demonstrated ability in cost control, commercial evaluation, and contract/claims management.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and strong data management skills.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • Strong leadership capability with experience in mentoring and team development.

  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment across multiple locations.

  • Strong commitment to HSE, compliance, and ethical business practices.
