Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end procurement cycle for raw materials, spare parts, chemicals, fuels, and capital equipment.

Evaluate supplier performance, negotiate contracts, and manage long-term supplier relationships.

Review monthly and annual demand and supply plans aligned with production targets with corporate planning team.

Maintain optimal inventory levels to ensure continuous operations, avoiding shortages and overstock.

Oversee daily operations of spare parts and capex warehouses.

Ensure proper receiving, storage, preservation, and issuance of materials and spare parts.

Manage inbound and outbound transportation for raw materials, finished goods, and consumables with corporate logistics team.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.

Prepare periodic reports for senior management with needed reports.

Ensure all activities comply with Industry safety regulations, environmental sustainability, and internal audit standards.

Ensure all supply chain activities, policies, and procedures are aligned with the company s Corporate Supply Chain Framework.

Ensure compliance with corporate policies, ethical purchasing, and anti-corruption guidelines.

Implement corporate standards for sourcing, planning, inventory governance, supplier management, and logistics control.

Coordinate with the corporate supply chain team for approvals, reporting, and strategic alignment.

Support rollout of corporate initiatives, digital tools, and supply chain governance programs.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualification:

  • Bachelor s degree in supply chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 8 to 12 years of supply chain experience, preferably in mining, heavy industry, refining, or manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (SAP).
  • Expertise in procurement, inventory control, warehouse operations, and logistics.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of HSE standards, hazardous material handling, and mining supply operations is an advantage.
  • Master s degree in supply chain or Logistics is preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as CSCP, CPIM, CPSM, or equivalent are highly preferred.
