Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Summary
Responsible for managing daily logistics, warehouse & store operations, including inventory control, material handling, documentation, and coordination with internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
Store & Warehouse Operations
Manage daily store and warehouse operations efficiently
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and identification of materials
• Maintain accurate inventory records in SAP/ERP systems
• Issue materials as per approved requisitions
• Conduct stock verification and inventory audits regularly
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment activities
• Ensure warehouse cleanliness and safety compliance
• Maintain GRN, delivery notes, invoices, and related documentation
Logistics Management
Manage inbound and outbound logistics operations
• Coordinate transportation, shipment scheduling, and delivery tracking
• Work with freight forwarders and transport vendors for timely dispatches
• Ensure proper logistics and shipping documentation
• Monitor logistics costs and improve operational efficiency
• Resolve logistics and supply chain-related issues effectively
Supply Chain Coordination
Coordinate with procurement, production, and planning teams
• Ensure uninterrupted material availability for production
• Analyze inventory movement and generate MIS reports
Required Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Commerce, or related field
• 5 to 14 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations
• Experience in manufacturing or engineering industry preferred
• Knowledge of SAP/ERP MS Excel and inventory management systems
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Skills
• Experience in manufacturing/engineering Logistics/warehouse/ stores
• Knowledge of barcode systems & stock control
• Familiarity with safety and material handling
