Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Procurement & Purchasing

Develop and implement purchasing strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, products, and services.

Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best commercial and contractual terms.

Manage supplier performance, conduct regular evaluations, and ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.

Review purchase orders and contracts to ensure accuracy, budget alignment, and policy compliance.

2. Supply & Demand Planning

Lead the planning process to maintain optimal inventory levels and support production, sales, and customer service targets.

Analyze demand forecasts, sales trends, and operational data to create accurate supply plans.

Coordinate with sales, operations, and finance to align planning decisions with business objectives.

Monitor inventory KPIs (turnover, coverage, accuracy) and take corrective actions when needed.

3. Logistics & Distribution

Oversee all logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and last-mile distribution.

Ensure efficient and cost-effective movement of goods across the supply chain network.

Implement and monitor processes for inbound and outbound logistics, customs clearance, and freight optimization.

Manage relationships with logistics service providers and ensure adherence to service level agreements.

4. Supply Chain Optimization & Continuous Improvement

Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve supply chain efficiency.

Implement best practices, automation tools, and digital solutions to enhance visibility and control.

Mitigate supply chain risks by developing contingency plans and maintaining strategic inventory where needed.

5. Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Lead and develop supply chain teams across procurement, planning, and logistics functions.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders operations, finance, sales, quality to ensure alignment on goals and priorities.

Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and health & safety standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field (Master s degree is a plus).

Proven experience (5+ years) in supply chain, procurement, or logistics leadership roles.

Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in ERP systems, supply chain planning software, and MS Office applications.

Excellent communication and team-management abilities.

Strong understanding of supply chain best practices and industry standards.
