Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Purchasing & Supplier Management
- Lead all direct purchasing activities for raw materials, components, and services.
- Develop and execute supplier strategies to achieve cost reduction, quality improvements, and risk mitigation.
- Drive localization initiatives to achieve 80% local sourcing within 5 years.
- Collaborate with the Quality department to ensure supplier quality compliance, audits, and continuous improvement.
Master Scheduling & Material Planning
- Own the master production schedule to align supply with customer demand.
- Ensure effective material requirements planning (MRP) to support production without shortages or excess.
- Balance capacity and demand in alignment with S&OP processes.
Logistics & Distribution
- Lead all inbound and outbound logistics operations, ensuring timely and cost-efficient material flow.
- Optimize transportation, warehousing, and distribution strategies.
- Implement processes to improve lead time, reliability, and sustainability of logistics operations.
Inventory Management & Fulfillment
- Establish and maintain inventory management processes for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
- Drive inventory optimization projects, ensuring alignment with business financial objectives.
- Lead fulfillment planning and ensure on-time delivery to customers.
Continuous Improvement & Technology
- Champion lean methodologies and six sigma tools to improve supply chain efficiency.
- Drive cross-functional improvement projects to optimize delivery performance, lead time, resource utilization, and forecast accuracy.
- Provide leadership in implementing and enhancing planning systems and ERP integration.
People Leadership & Development
- Lead and develop the supply chain team to achieve operational excellence.
- Ensure proper staffing, training, and motivation of team members.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, with strong exposure to purchasing, logistics, and planning.
- Proven track record in supplier localization and supplier quality management.
- Experience in ERP systems and advanced supply chain planning tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Lean / Six Sigma certification preferred.
- Experience with ERP/QMS software systems.
- Team Development skills
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft office Word, Excel or PowerPoint
- Proficiency in spoken & written English language
