  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and manage logistics risks, including port delays, geopolitical issues, and transport interruptions, especially for critical export shipments.

Sourcing, Procurement & Inventory Management :

  • Sourcing Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic sourcing plan for raw materials, packaging, and third-party services (CMOs, logistics), prioritizing security of supply and cost efficiency.
  • Supplier Management: Conduct robust vendor selection, qualification, and ongoing performance management (audits, business reviews) for all critical suppliers, ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical quality standards.
  • Inventory Control: Optimize inventory levels (raw materials, work-in-progress, finished goods) to minimize obsolescence, manage working capital, and guarantee product availability for export orders.
  • Demand Planning: Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to develop accurate sales forecasts and translate them into a coherent supply plan (S&OP/IBP).

Quality & Regulatory Compliance :-

  • GDP/GMP Adherence: Ensure all supply chain activities, including warehousing, transport, and CMO operations, comply with relevant Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP).
  • Audit Readiness: Maintain audit-ready documentation and processes for internal, external, and regulatory inspections.
  • Change Control: Manage the supply chain impact of product changes, new product introductions (NPIs), and regulatory updates via the company's change control system.
