Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
AUIB is seeking a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Manager to drive its mission of enhancing procurement efficiency and optimizing resource management. In this pivotal role within the Supply Chain Unit under the Financial Administration Department, the Supply Chain Manager will lead procurement, inventory control, asset management, warehouse operations, and logistics. Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Supply Chain Officers to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute supply chain strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance resource availability.
- Inventory and Asset Oversight: Supervise inventory control, asset lifecycle management, warehouse operations, and asset tracking.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Negotiate contracts, evaluate supplier performance, and manage supplier agreements.
- Logistics Coordination: Oversee logistics, transportation, and distribution to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Desired Candidate Profile
1. Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams and foster collaborative work environments.
2. Strategic Vision: Ability to develop long-term strategic plans aligned with organizational goals.
3. Analytical Skills: Strong capability in data analysis, reporting, and interpreting complex supply chain metrics
4. Negotiation Skills: Expertise in negotiating favorable terms and managing supplier relationships.
5. System Proficiency: Proficiency in Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM and other relevant supply chain management software.
Education and Experience:
- Required Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Years of Relevant Experience: Minimum of 5 years.
- Specific Skills or Expertise: Expertise in inventory control, logistics, and Oracle SCM Cloud.
- Additional Certifications: Certifications in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) preferred but not required.
- Personal Attributes: Integrity, accountability, detail-oriented, collaborative, and committed to intuitional excellence.
