Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsible for creating and releasing Material Plan for particular categories (RMPM), working hand in hand with 3PM MPS Planning Coordinator and MRP Planning Coordinator

Generate the Monthly Materials Plan for 12-month rolling horizon for SKUs using the production plan and Suppliers feedback as key inputs

follow the stock movements across plants based on the updated production plan per plant and contact plants to ensure delivery of materials. And follow up on raw & packaging materials availability per plant, the open orders with suppliers and deliveries receipt on SAP.

Set balanced need of material requirements to meet the production plan to fulfil both export & local markets demand and enable achieving sales AOP targets.

Coordinate with the on-ground team the movement in & out of trucks to avoid any conflicts in shipping and storage for raw materials and finish good

Plan & place all fixable packaging materials requirements

Follow up on suppliers reconciliation in coordination with finance team and share the new forecast with suppliers based on the GP suppliers allocation

Secure needed materials for any new trials and/or new initiatives.

Monitor the R&PM planning KPIs (Delivery compliance), and update ending stock report and share it with finance team

Compare daily material s opening stock versus the requirements according to the production plan and develop the material plans based on AOP then share it with the sourcing team.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Create Monthly MRP Plan based on production needs and available inventories
  • Identify risks and opportunities and propose constrained scenarios to maximize service (liaising with MRP Planning Coordinator, Suppliers and Procurement if applies)
  • Validate production and material plans in Weekly Plan Review Meeting
  • Validate medium- and long-term material availability based on supplier feedback
  • Monitor PR conversions and release of POs to suppliers
  • Monitor Suppliers performance and feedback to Procurement
  • Working Capital Management: Check materials availability and propose actions for excess / shortages
  • Create inventory projections for RMPM ensuring alignment to targets.
  • Analyse gaps and propose mitigation actions
  • Business Waste Management: Review weekly provision snapshot to be shared with Finance
  • Create business waste projections for RMPM to minimize no-consumption risks (zero-based plan)
