Supply Planner Hunter Foods L.L.C.

Job Purpose

The Supply Planner is responsible for converting demand forecasts into a material and

supply plan, ensuring the right materials are available at the right time while

maintaining optimal inventory levels and supporting production capacity plans.

Key Responsibilities

Material Planning

• Develop material requirement plans based on demand forecasts and production

plans.

• Calculate raw material and packaging requirements using MRP.

• Ensure timely availability of materials to support production schedules.

Inventory Management

• Maintain optimal inventory levels for raw materials and packaging.

• Define and monitor safety stock levels.

• Track slow-moving, excess, and obsolete inventory and drive reduction plans.

Procurement Planning

• Provide clear purchase requirements to procurement teams including:

1. What to purchase

2. When to purchase

3. How much to purchase

• Monitor supplier lead times and ensure materials arrive on time.

Capacity & Supply Planning

• Review production capacity and align material supply with plant capabilities.

• Support supply planning decisions based on plant constraints and demand

priorities.

S&OP Participation

• Provide supply feasibility inputs during the Sales & Operations Planning process.

• Support decisions related to capacity, inventory, and supply risks.
