Surface Facilities Project Manager Halliburton

Under broad direction from the Asset or Project Manager , the Surface Facilities Manager Senior will:

• supports the Asset or Project Manager in managing the surface facilities activities in the asset.
• Handles the project management requirements for the Customer surface facilities work scope, potentially including project planning, FEED work, detailed design, construction, commissioning, start-up and/or abandonment activities.
• Expertise in managing design consultants to optimize the design and construction contractors to maximize productivity.
• Strong understanding of all aspects of risk management methodologies; including risk identification, assessment, prioritization and mitigation/control.
• Analyzes, plans, and tracks company resources to complete facility design and construction on time and on budget.
• Attends internal coordination meetings with PSLs and other Project/Asset department heads, and informs activity completion dates and issues.
• Coordinates environmental impact studies produced by engineering group to comply with governmental requirements.
• Attends internal and external meetings for work coordination.
• Communicates surface facility needs and plans to Customer, and obtains corresponding contractual approval.
• Approves final revision and Engineering and Construction Work Orders and corresponding invoices.
• Reviews AFE requests and submits for upper management approval.
• Possesses strong knowledge of all aspects of project management control systems; including project scheduling, cost estimating, change/variance orders, MoC processes, monthly reporting, etc.

Requires an undergraduate degree in engineering or similar discipline, and preferably 8 years of progressive experience in planning, design, construction and project management of surface facilities in oil fields.
