Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Manage surface water resource projects, storm water management, hydrology studies / modelling, and water intakes
- Manage surface water components for EIA's and mine waste management projects
- Develop and review technical reports for clients
- Liaison with Internal and External entities
- Review proposal writing related to Water Resources and technical issues related to surface water projects
- Prepare and review high quality project and design reports
- Experience in Water Engineering projects for the roads and drainage, industrial / residential development and / or infrastructure sectors
- Perform regular risk management to minimize project risks.
- Performance of actual design duties as directed.
Desired Candidate Profile
BSc/BEng or equivalent degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
- 10 years of experience in TSE systems networks modelling. Experience within the region would be required.
- Skills required are model build calibration, optioneering and design & modelling reviews, and operational aspects.
- Hands on experience on Info Works WS/WS Pro, ArcGIS is essential
- Experience with EIA's
- Strong experience in mine water management and water and salt balance modelling
- Extensive water resources modelling; storm water modelling; flood-lines determination experience.
- Experience in catchment and mine water modelling that relates to both water quantity and quality.
