Job Purpose

To work within the Surveying Unit of the Technical Office, supporting field surveying activities for projects, collecting and processing survey data, and preparing the required drawings and reports. The role also involves verifying site conditions, validating survey data, and supporting engineering teams with the information necessary for project execution.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Surveying or a related field.
• Valid registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers in the relevant discipline.

Required Experience

• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in the use of surveying equipment and software.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
• Good knowledge of the fundamentals of land surveying and setting-out works.

Skills

• Ability to perform field surveying activities and collect survey data.
• Good skills in preparing survey drawings and reports.
• Ability to work effectively under various field conditions.
• Proficiency in survey data processing and analysis software.
• Good organizational and documentation skills.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Surveyor in carrying out field surveying works.
• Collect field data and accurately record survey measurements and observations.
• Assist in setting out project axes, control points, and reference points on site.
• Assist in the preparation, operation, and maintenance of surveying equipment.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or technical issues.
• Prepare daily records and reports of field activities.
• Organize and maintain survey files, records, and data.
• Comply with quality procedures related to surveying activities.
• Follow health and safety requirements during field operations.
• Report hazards or unsafe conditions and take appropriate action in accordance with company procedures.
